Biotika a.s. operates as a pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Slovakia and internationally. The company offers active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), including phenoxymethylpenicillin calcium, phenoxymethylpenicillin potassium, phenoxymethylpenicillin potassium granulated, and polymyxin B sulfate (non-sterile) substances; and pharmaceutical preparations for the human and veterinary applications. In addition, the company produces and sells cosmetic products feed additives, disinfectants and organic chemicals, composts and organic fertilizers, and medical devices, as well as food products, such as drinks, protein substances, and related derivatives. Further, it provides waste water treatment and cooling water diversion services, as well as various services in the waste management sector; freight road transportation services; and rental services. Additionally, the company engages in the research and development of natural and technical sciences; and operation of railway track. Biotika a.s. was founded in 1953 and is headquartered in Slovenská Lupca, Slovakia.
