Electra Limited, through its subsidiaries, engages in the contracting, construction, infrastructure, and electromechanical system businesses in Israel and internationally. It offers construction, infrastructure, and installation of electro-mechanical systems in the building, elevators, escalators; and electrical infrastructure products for high voltage, medium/high voltage, and low voltage supplies for buildings, industries, and infrastructure projects. The company also installs electro-mechanical systems; elevators, escalators, parking multipliers, automatic parking lots, and accessibility facilities in residences, office buildings, public buildings, shopping malls, and other sectors; toothed belt elevators for power plants, and construction and chemical industries; and air conditioning systems, central air conditioning and piping, as well as generators. In addition, it constructs residences, public buildings, office buildings, houses, hotel, etc.; undertakes engineering projects, such as roads and infrastructures, bridging, railroads, tunneling, and pushing pipelines; and constructs sewage treatment plants. The company was formerly known as Electra (Israel) Ltd. and changed its name to Electra Limited in January 2003. Electra Limited was founded in 1945 and is based in Ramat Gan, Israel. Electra Limited is a subsidiary of Elco Ltd.
