EMCO Industries Limited engages in the manufacture and sale of high/low tension electrical porcelain insulators and switchgears in Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar, the Unites States, Brazil, Colombia, and China. The company offers disc-type, switch/bus, station post, line post, pin type, spool, strain/guy, hollow, and shackle insulators; tension/suspension insulators in normal, fog, and aeroform type; HV and LV transformer bushings; surge arresters; and dropout cutouts. It provides room temperature vulcasined and silicone rubber coating; chemical porcelain, including acid proof tiles and acid proof cement; high alumina porcelain and lining special refractories and grinding media; and metal components. The company was formerly known as Electric Equipment Manufacturing Company (Private) Limited and changed its name to EMCO Industries Limited in September 1983. The company was founded in 1951 and is headquartered in Lahore, Pakistan.
