Midea Group Co., Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells home appliances, and robotic and automation systems in China and internationally. The company operates through four segments: Smart Home Business, Smart Building Technology, New Energy and Industrial Technology, and Others. It offers household air-conditioner, central air-conditioner, heating and ventilation systems, kitchen appliances, refrigerators, washing machines, various small household appliances, elevators, high and low voltage inverters, medical imaging products, and robotics and automation system. The company also provides core components, such as compressors, motors, chips, valves, reducers, automotive parts, energy storage, photovoltaics, reducers, and automation. In addition, it provides building solutions; industrial machines robotics, logistics automation systems, and transmission systems for related solutions for medical, entertainment, and new consumer fields; as well as smart supply chain solutions. Further, the company engages in sale, wholesale, and processing of raw materials for consumer appliances; and the provision of financial services, such as deposit taking, interbank lending, consumer credit, buyer's credit, and financial leasing services. Additionally, it provides Internet of Things solutions. Midea Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1968 and is based in Foshan, China.
