Nitol Insurance Company Limited provides non-life insurance products and services in Bangladesh. The company offers property insurance, including fire and allied perils, hotel owner’s all risks, property damage all risks, power plant operational package, householders comprehensive insurance products, and industrial all risks insurance. It also provides motor insurance comprising private vehicle, Nirapod comprehensive private car, commercial vehicle, and motor cycle insurance; and marine insurance, including all types of marine cargo and hull insurance products. In addition, the company offers engineering insurance, including contractor’s all risks; erection all risks; boiler and pressure vessel; machinery breakdown; stock deterioration; life, hoist, and crane; and contractors plant and machinery insurance products. Further, it provides miscellaneous insurance products for financial, health, personal accident, and liability, which include cash-in-safe, cash-on-counter, cash-in-transit, safe deposit box, money, Hajj and Umrah, Bangabandhu Suroksha Bima, public liability, product liability, burglary and housebreaking, fidelity guarantee, workmen's compensation, all risks, clinical trials and/or human volunteers studies and commercial general liability products. Additionally, the company offers overseas mediclaim insurance, consisting of business and holiday, employment and studies, and corporate frequent travel; and agro base insurance services. The company was incorporated in 1999 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
