The company operates through two segments: Agri Food Exports and Consumer Brands. It manufactures, markets, and exports coconut-based food and beverages, such as coconut milk powder, spread, milk and cream, chips, flour, milk drinks, and water; creamed, desiccated, and organic coconut; sweetened cream of coconut; and virgin coconut oil. The company also offers canned fish, including jack mackerel, mackerel, tuna chunks, and tuna spreads; dairy products comprising fresh milk, iced coffee, pasteurized milk, yoghurt, kiri pani, curd, and cheese products; culinary products, such as soya meat in various flavors; various snacks and confectionary products; tea and tisanes; fruit beverages, including drink mix powders and nectars; and baking products, such as essence and coloring. It also engages in the plantation and management of forestry, cultivation of agriculture produce, and provision of warehousing facilities. The company was formerly known as Renuka Shaw Wallace PLC and changed its name to Renuka Foods PLC in October 2014. Renuka Foods PLC was founded in 1866 and is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Renuka Foods PLC operates as a subsidiary of Renuka Agro Exports (Pvt) Ltd.
