Sea Harvest Group Limited engages in the fishing and fast-moving consumer goods business in South Africa, Europe, Australia, Asia, and internationally. It operates through four segments: South African Fishing, Sea Harvest Australia, Sea Harvest Aquaculture, and Cape Harvest Foods. The company is involved catching, processing, and marketing cape hake, horse mackerel, pelagic fish, anchovy, pilchard, Spanish mackerel, fish trawl, prawns, scallops, crabs, and abalone. It also engages in the production, distribution, marketing, and sale of cheese, butter, powder, and convenience food products in retail and bulk forms to the South African retail, foodservice, co-packing, and food product development markets; and manufacture and distribution of chilled and frozen food products. The company was formerly known as Sea Harvest Holdings Proprietary Limited and changed its name to Sea Harvest Group Limited in February 2017. Sea Harvest Group Limited was founded in 1964 and is based in Cape Town, South Africa.
