Seed Co Limited, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the breeding, multiplication, distribution, and marketing of hybrid maize and vegetable seeds in Africa. It offers white maize, yellow maize, rice, potato, pearl millet, and cotton seeds; and open-pollinated cereal crops, such as soya beans, sorghum, wheat, beans, sugar beans, cowpeas, and groundnuts; as well as vegetable seeds, such as broccoli, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, chilli, cucumber, fine beans, lettuce, mealies, onion, peas, pepper, rape, tomato, and watermelon. The company was founded in 1940 and is based in Harare, Zimbabwe.
