SMB Finance PLC, a specialized finance company, provides finance leases, loans, and pawning services in Sri Lanka. It operates through Leasing, Loans, Treasury, and Money Brokering segments. The company offers loan and leasing facilities to acquire movable and immovable properties, such as land, motor cars, buses, trucks, and machinery; and personal and business loans. It is also involved in the treasury activities comprising placement with banks, REPOS, and treasury bonds; and money brokering activities consisting of call money, FOREX, treasury bills, and treasury bonds. The company was formerly known as SMB Leasing PLC and changed its name to SMB Finance PLC in December 2022. SMB Finance PLC was incorporated in 1992 and is headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
