Union Bank of Iraq provides various banking and financial services to individuals, companies, and corporations primarily in Iraq. The company offers current and saving accounts; and accepts deposits in Iraqi and foreign currencies. It also issues local transfers and bills, and internal and external guarantee letters; operates as a broker in selling and purchasing foreign currencies, as well as in buying and selling stocks; and buys drawn deeds on local bank branches inside and outside Baghdad City. In addition, the company provides various banking facilities required in dinar of U.S. dollar with accepted bank guarantees; and short and medium-term loans, as well as issues credit letters. Further, it offers consulting, wealth management, and investment services, as well as structural and commercial finance services. Union Bank of Iraq was incorporated in 2002 and is headquartered in Baghdad, Iraq.
