United Motors Lanka PLC, together with its subsidiaries, imports, distributes, and sells vehicles, spare parts, equipment and machineries, tyres, lubricants, and 3D printers in Sri Lanka. The company operates through Spare Parts and Workshop; Vehicles; Equipment and Machinery; 3D Printers and Services; Tyres; Lubricant and Car Care Products; and Trailers segments. It sells passenger, assembled, commercial, special purpose, and pre-owned passenger vehicles; accessories and related components; heavy equipment, generators, and machinery; filaments, and related services; and lubricant and car care products. The company also engages in the provision of after-sales and repair services for vehicles, machinery, and equipment; assembling of vehicles and sale of used vehicles; renting premises; vehicle sales facilitation and brokering business; operation of solar power projects; and importation and sale of heavy equipment and power generators. Further, it manufactures and sells port and road trailers, carriage of cargo containers, and related services; and operates a dealer network for maintenance and spare parts, as well as provides technical support for fleet management. The company was founded in 1945 and is headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka. United Motors Lanka PLC is a subsidiary of R I L Property PLC.
