ALi Corporation engages in the research, development, design, and sale of chipsets for consumer electronic products in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, and internationally. It offers digital set-top box (STB) products; and STB chips, including satellite, terrestrial, cable, and decoder and internet protocol chips. The company also provides wireless connectivity solutions; smart display solutions, such as HDMI dongle and Pico projector; smart mobile robots, including consumer robots and commercial service robots; human machine interfaces; and smart audio products. In addition, it engages in provision of design and intellectual property rights services for integrated circuits. The company was formerly known as Acer Laboratories, Inc. and changed its name to ALi Corporation in 2002. The company was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan.
