Banco Nacional de Crédito, C.A., Banco Universal provides various banking products and services in Venezuela. It offers checking and savings accounts, term deposit certificates, and demand deposit accounts in foreign currency. The company also provides commercial credits, auto financing, invoice discounting and factoring, money transfer discount, and microcredits; bail bonds, domestic letters of credit, and letters of credit in foreign currency; and financing for agri-food, manufacturing, tourism, health, and mortgage sectors, as well as for entrepreneurs. In addition, it offers escrow services; cards; commerce/person collection services; ATMs; services for foreign and national currency; and points of sale, and mobile and online banking services. The company was formerly known as Banco Tequendama, C.A. and changed its name to Banco Nacional de Crédito, C.A., Banco Universal in December 2004. Banco Nacional de Crédito, C.A., Banco Universal was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Caracas, Venezuela.
