Bangladesh Lamps PLC produces and sells lighting products in Bangladesh. The company offers light-emitting diode (LED) bulbs, LED tube lights, electric bulbs, switch, and sockets under the Transtec brand name. It also manufactures commercial and factory lighting solutions, and home appliances. The company was formerly known as Bangladesh Lamps Limited and changed its name to Bangladesh Lamps PLC in February 2025. The company was incorporated in 1960 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Bangladesh Lamps PLC is a subsidiary of Transcom Limited.
