It also provides lasagna, macaroni, cheese, pies, ready-to-eat meals, pizza, and other frozen meals; plant-based nuggets, vegetables, and burgers; frozen desserts; cheese bread; butter, cream cheese, sweet specialties, sandwiches, and pate; and soy meal, refined soy flour, and animal feed, as well as sells frozen French fries. The company sells its products under the Sadia, Perdigão, Qualy, Sadia Halal, Banvit, Perdix, Confidence and Hilal, Chester, BRF Ingredients, Borella, Hilal, Balance, Deline, Sadia Bio, Sadia Salamitos, Sadia Veg&Tal, Sadia Livre&Lev, Sadia Hot Pocket, Perdigão Ouro, Chester Perdigão, Perdigão NaBrasa, Kidelli, Claybom, Biofresh, Guabi Natural, Giran Plus, Balance, Three Dogs, Three Cats, PrimoCão, PrimoGato, Faro, Bônos, Apolo, and Átila brands. In addition, it engages in consultancy, administrative, marketing, road freight, logistics, and veterinary services; generation and commercialization of electric energy; preparation and preservation of meat, fish, crustaceans, and mollusks; and production of oils, and animal and plant-based fats. The company serves supermarkets, wholesalers, retail and wholesale stores, and restaurants. It exports its products. The company was formerly known as BRF-Brasil Foods S.A. and changed its name to BRF S.A. in April 2013. BRF S.A. was incorporated in 1934 and is headquartered in Itajaí, Brazil.
