Posco International Corporation engages in the trading, resource development, and infrastructure development and operation businesses in South Korea and Internationally. It also engages in the exploration, development, production, and sale of gas and oil; LNG terminal and connected business, including LNG import and terminal, trading, LNG bunkering, LNG and LPG ship commissioning, LPG sales, and LNG liquefaction terminal; power generation business with domestic and overseas power plants; and energy business with onshore and offshore wind power, solar power, sewage heat energy business, CCS, and hydrogen business. It provides steel material to automotive industry which includes body, chassis, EV battery pack, EV traction motor, and proton-exchange membranes (PEMs) and separators for hydrogen fuel cell; construction industry which includes architectural structures and interior and exterior; regular and special naval ships for shipbuilding industry; and solar mounting structures, LNG carrier, membrane type LNG tank, and wind power generator and other related parts, as well as offers steel products, including hot-rolled steel, steel plates, electrical steel, electrical galvanized steel, cold-rolled steel, and galvanized steel. It also provides steel raw materials, such as iron ore, raw coal, and power generation coal needed for conventional iron and steel manufacturing businesses. In addition, it also trades food, including grain, palm oil, and cotton. It intends to broaden its business in the field of bioplastics, bio raw materials, recycled plastic, biomedicine, and conventional chemical products. The company was formerly known as Posco Daewoo Corporation and changed its name to Posco International Corporation in March 2019. Posco International Corporation was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Posco International Corporation operates as a subsidiary of POSCO Holdings Inc.
