The firm typically makes equity investments between $0.25 million and $2 million in companies having sales value between $1.7 million and $4.9 million; enterprise value is between $5 million to $50 million, EBITDA between $0.47 million and $1.3 million. It prefers controlling stake in its portfolio companies or influential, but non-controlling stakes in both private businesses and publicly quoted companies. The firm prefers to sit on the investee company boards. It prefers to hold investments for an average of around three to five years. The firm seeks to invest from its own balance sheet and also with the funds of partners and co–investors. Dale Capital Group Limited was founded in 2000 and is based in Ebene, Mauritius with additional offices in Cape Town, South Africa.
