Dhaka Bank PLC., together with subsidiaries, provides various commercial banking products and services for personal and corporate customers in Bangladesh. It offers various retail banking products and services, such as current and savings accounts, short notice deposits, fixed deposits, gift cheques, deposit pension schemes, various other deposit schemes, senior accounts, student’s ledgers, car and home loans, debit and credit cards, and locker services. The company also provides various corporate banking products and services, including long, mid, and short term financing products, as well as working capital finance, trade finance, and cash management services. In addition, it offers syndications and structured finance products; offshore banking services; SME deposit and loan products; re-financing scheme; non-financial services; and small and medium enterprise (SME) banking services. Further, the company provides Islamic banking services comprising savings accounts, special notice deposits, deposit pension schemes, foreign remittance accounts, and various other deposits, as well as digital banking services. Additionally, it acts as a TREC holder of Dhaka Stock Exchanges Limited and Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited to carry on the business of brokers in stocks, shares and securities, commercial papers, bonds, debentures, debentures stocks, foreign currencies, and treasury bills and/or other financial instruments. The company operates through branches, ATM booths, internet banking, offshore banking units, SME service centers, and sub-branches. The company was formerly known as Dhaka Bank Limited and changed its name to Dhaka Bank PLC. in November 2023. Dhaka Bank PLC. was incorporated in 1995 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
