It also provides motor and automobile liability insurance; and miscellaneous insurance, such as burglary, all risk, air travel, cash-in-safe, cash-in-transit, cash-on-counter, cash-on-premises, overseas medi-claim, fidelity guarantee, personal accident, peoples personal accident, workmen’s compensation, safe deposit box all risks, commercial general liability, and business interruption/loss of profit insurance. In addition, the company offers liability insurance products, including employers’ liability, product liability, carriers’ liability, public liability, contingency liability, and clinical liability insurance; and engineering insurance products, such as contractors and erection all risks, builders all risks, machinery break down, deterioration of stock, boiler and pressure vessel, cold storage comprehensive policy, electronic equipment, and contractors’ plant and machinery insurance. Further, it provides specialized products, including professional indemnity, householders’ comprehensive, shops and supermarkets, cancellation and abandonment insurance for games, umbrella, hotel owners all risks, glass, engineers’ professional liability, bankers’ blanket bond, and rubber plantation insurance; and aviation insurance products. Additionally, the company offers underwriting and re-insurance services. The company was formerly known as Eastland Insurance Company Limited and changed its name to Eastland Insurance PLC. in September 2024. Eastland Insurance PLC. was incorporated in 1986 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
