IAR S.A. develops, manufactures, and sells aeronautical products in Romania. The company offers Alouette III and Puma helicopters. It also engages in the design analysis and qualification/certification of new or upgraded aircraft, avionics and equipment integration, and ground and flight testing, the manufacture of structural sub-assemblies, electrical harnesses, distribution units, and control boxes, and provision of upgrading programs, customization, D-level maintenance, I-level maintenance, structural repairs, ground and flight testing, and overhaul services. In addition, the company offers after-sale services comprising airworthiness assurance, spare parts supply and repair of equipment, and technical assistance, and training for pilots and technicians.
