Mercantile Investments and Finance PLC provides various financial services to individual and corporate customers in Sri Lanka. The company operates through Finance Lease, Hire Purchase, Loans and Advances, Investments, and Other segments. It offers fixed deposits and savings accounts; loans, including personal, corporate, pledge, property mortgage, micro financing, gold, vehicle, business, mortgage-backed, and term loans; leasing services; finance leasing and hire purchase; and microfinance solutions. It also provides insurance; workshop related services; vehicle maintenance services and repair center; vehicle pre and after sales service; and valuation certificates for vehicles, lands, and others through valuation centers. In addition, the company invests in treasury bills, bonds, repos, equities, and debt securities, as well as short- and medium-term deposits in banks and financial institutions. Mercantile Investments and Finance PLC was incorporated in 1964 and is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
