Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. manufactures and sells heavy machinery worldwide. It operates through four segments: Energy Systems; Plants & Infrastructure Systems; Logistics, Thermal & Drive Systems; and Aircraft, Defense & Space segments. The company offer thermal, renewable energy, nuclear power generation, engine power plants, fuel cells, distributed power for total energy solutions, and oil and gas production plants; civil aircrafts and engines, aviation equipment, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircrafts; launch vehicles and services, rocket engines, reaction control system, human spaceflight and exploration related equipment, rocket launch facility, rocket engine combustion test, and space environment utilization experiment facility, satellite, and components. It offers passenger and commercial ships, LNG and LPG carriers, special purpose vessels, marine machinery, marine boiler, turbine, solution, high speed engines, structures, and engineering business; transportation and intelligent transport systems; products and solutions, such as electronic toll collection, road user charging, highway traffic, and EV management, and development system; forklift trucks, paper converting, rubber, and tire machinery. In addition, it provides organic solvent exhaust gas treatment, waste to energy, sludge treatment, air quality control, carrier, and bio-treatment systems; turbochargers, car air-conditioning and refrigeration systems, and testing equipment; particle accelerator, printing, paper, and metals machinery, food and packaging machinery, pumps, compressors and mechanical turbines, hydraulic components. Further, it provides gas holders, vibration control systems, water pipes, tunnel excavation machinery, and data center; cybersecurity, special vehicles, naval ship and maritime systems, defense aircrafts, helicopters, defense aeroengines, guided weapon systems; and CO2 capture plants. The company was founded in 1884 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
