Reliance Insurance Limited engages in the non-life insurance business in Bangladesh. It offers property insurance products, including fire, property damage all risks, and industrial all risks insurance products; and marine insurance products, such as marine cargo, marine hull, and builders risks insurance. The company also provides engineering insurance products comprising machinery breakdown, deterioration of stocks, boiler and pressure vessels, electronic equipment, erection all risks, oil and gas well drilling equipment package, work plant, hotel owners all risks, and contractors plan and machinery insurance products. In addition, it offers liability insurance products, such as product, public, and commercial general liability insurance; health insurance; overseas travel insurance; and motor insurance products for commercial and private use. Further, the company provides miscellaneous insurance products, such as sportsmen’s comprehensive, sports, agent banking, bankers’ blanket bond, burglary, cash in safe, cash in transit, cash on the counter, cash in premises, commercial general liability, clinical trail, employers liability, fidelity guarantee, marine terminal operators liability, personal accident, professional indemnity, workmen’s compensation insurance, product and public liability, as well as hole in one insurance/event covers. It offers its products through direct and online platforms and serves national and multinational conglomerates. The company was incorporated in 1988 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
