Topcon Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, develops, manufactures, and sells positioning, eye care, and smart infrastructure products in Japan and internationally. It operates through Positioning Business and Eye Care Business. The company offers total station; 3D laser scanner; ICT automated construction system; IT agricultural system; surveying GN; SS receivers; laser equipment; and software, including construction management, surveying, civil engineering, and 3D point cloud processing and modeling. It also provides 3D fundus imaging devices; fundus cameras; auto refractometers; keratometers; slit lamps; tonometers; lens meters; ophthalmic; laser photocoagulators; and software, such as ophthalmic image filing and data management, and ophthalmic electronic charts. The company was formerly known as Tokyo Optical Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Topcon Corporation in 1989. Topcon Corporation was incorporated in 1932 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
