Universal Insurance Plc provides non-life insurance, risk underwriting, and related financial and hospitality services in Nigeria. The company offers all risks, auto, boiler and pressure vessels, bond, builders and employers’ liability, burglary and house breaking, agricultural, fidelity guarantee, fire and special perils, goods in transit, group personal accident, health care professional indemnity, machinery breakdown, marine cargo, marine hull and machinery, money policies, occupiers' liability, oil and gas, professional indemnity, motor, general accident, workmen compensation, aviation, house holders, and local travel insurance products, as well as contractors, erection, and plant all risks insurance. It is also involved in the property investment and asset management businesses. The company operates through branches in Port Harcourt, Abuja, Enugu, Owerri, Onitsha, Aba, Umuhia, Abakaliki, and Kaduna. Universal Insurance Plc was incorporated in 1961 and is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
