Avicanna Inc., a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company, engages in the research, development, advancement, and commercialization of evidence-based cannabinoid-based products and formulations for consumer, medical, and pharmaceutical markets in Canada and internationally. In addition, it operates MyMedi.ca, a medical cannabis care platform that offers a diverse portfolio of products and bilingual pharmacist-led patient support programs, specialty services to veterans, as well as provides educational resources to the medical community to facilitate the incorporation of medical cannabis into health care regimens; and collaborates with public and private payers for adjudication and reimbursement.
