Ceylon Grain Elevators PLC engages in the integrated poultry business in Sri Lanka. The company operates through three segments: Milling and Farming; Poultry Breeding and Commercial; and Others. It is involved in the manufacture and sale of poultry and other animal feed products; import and sale of poultry equipment, and drugs and vaccines; operation of poultry breeder and commercial farms; raising of grandparent and parent stocks and hatcheries; processing, packaging, and retailing of poultry meat products; and provision of warehouse and storage facilities. The company also engages in the breeding, processing, and culture of shrimp; hatching and selling day old chicks; rental of farm operations; and feed milling, broiler farming, and processing and distribution of chicken activities, as well as provides laboratory and consultancy services. It sells its products under the PRIMA and FARMERS' CHOICE brands. Ceylon Grain Elevators PLC was incorporated in 1982 and is headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
