DCB Commercial Bank Plc provides various banking products and services to in Tanzania. The company operates through Treasury, Retail Banking, and Other segments. It offers savings, student, joint, young saver, solidarity group, bamba, and royal and corporate customer accounts, as well as time and fixed deposits. The company also provides loans, such as salaried, housing microfinance, digital salary advance, school fees, and Jikopeshe Kidijitali loans; VICOBA loan scheme, Ushirika loan scheme, SACCOS loan scheme, NGUVU MOJA, and SME group and solidarity group lending; equipment/investment loans; and medium entrepreneur, micro-individual, small entrepreneur, and macro/corporate loans. In addition, the company offers trade finance products include telegraphic transfer, letter of credit, documentary collections, bill discounting, contract financing, and bank guarantees; asset financing; and insurance. Further, it provides foreign currency services, money market services, treasury bills, bond investments, fixed income trading, and other products, as well as internet and mobile banking, and electronic money transfer. It serves its products and services individuals, small, and medium sized businesses, as well as corporate clients. The company was formerly known as Dar es Salaam Community Bank Plc and changed its name to DCB Commercial Bank Plc in February 2012. DCB Commercial Bank Plc was incorporated in 2001 and is headquartered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
