Dubai National Insurance & Reinsurance Co. (P.S.C.) provides various insurance and reinsurance products in the United Arab Emirates. The company operates in two segments, Underwriting and Investments. It offers motor fleet insurance, including comprehensive, third-party liability, and roadside assistance insurance; group medical insurance; group life and personal accident insurance; and engineering insurance comprising contract works, temporary structures, construction plant and equipment, construction machinery, boiler pressure vessels, machinery breakdown, electronic equipment, business interruption, and deterioration of stocks insurance. The company also provides general and group personal accident insurance; money, fidelity guarantee, jewelers block, bankers blanket bond, and event cancellation and abandonment insurance; and liability insurance comprising workmen compensation, employer’s liability, public and product liability, professional indemnity, medical malpractice, directors and officers liability, and haulier’s liability insurance. In addition, it offers marine cargo, inland transit, and marine hull insurance; property insurance products, such as property all risks, fire and perils, fire and lighting, and business interruption insurance; and personal insurance products comprising motor, medical, travel, and home insurance. Further, the company invests in properties and financial assets. The company was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
