The Egyptian Satellite Company Nilesat provides direct-to-home (DTH) broadcasting, satellite broadband, and other communication services in Egypt, the Middle East, and North Africa. It operates fleet of satellites, including Nilesat 201 and Nilesat 301; and geostationary satellites that delivers a range of television channels, radio stations, and data and internet connectivity solutions to households, businesses, and governmental organizations. The company also offers satellite services, including KA-BAND broadband services, and KU-BAND and EXT. KU-BAND broadcasting services. In addition, it provides teleport services, such as OTT and video streaming, satellite uplink and downlink services, DTH, playout and backhauling solutions, and occasional TV solutions. Further, the company offers gateway operations and consultancy services; broadcasting services, including free-to-air and encrypted television channels, radio stations, and interactive services; satellite-based broadband and data services to support internet connectivity in underserved areas; and serves as a primary distribution platform for various Arabic-language broadcasters, which includes content in various genres, such as news, sports, entertainment, and educational programming. The Egyptian Satellite Company Nilesat was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in 6th of October City, Egypt.
