Gruma, S.A.B. de C.V., together with its subsidiaries, produces and sells corn flour, tortillas, and other related products. The company offers corn flour; packaged tortilla; corn chips; snacks and/or cereal; beer grits; polenta; prepared corn or wheat flour for pizza dough; corn and wheat tortillas; tortilla chips, taco shells; flatbreads, including wraps, pita bread, naan, chapatti, pizza doughs, piadina, breakfast breads, and crackers; pasta; marinades; and rice and oats. It markets and sells its products under the Maseca, Mission, Guerrero, Tosty, TortiRicas, Rumba, Delicados, Tortimasa, Juana, Minsa, Mimasa, Bravos, Tronaditas, and Mexifoods brand names. It also provides flours that are used in the preparation of different types of tortillas, flatbreads, grits, and other products in the same category. In addition, the company offers Cornmeal, hearts of palm, rice, wheat tortilla, fried foods, balanced feed for livestock, and other products. Further, it provides research, development, and production equipment and machinery for corn flour and tortilla, and the construction of the corn flour production plants. The company distributes its products primarily through independent distributors and wholesalers. It has operations in Mexico, the United States, Central America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. The company was founded in 1949 and is headquartered in San Pedro Garza García, Mexico.
