Hayleys PLC operates in the manufacturing, agriculture, and services sectors worldwide. It operates through the Eco Solutions, Hand Protection, Purification, Textiles, Construction Materials, Plantations, Agriculture, Consumer and Retail, Leisure, Industry Inputs, Power and Renewable Energy, and Transportation and Logistics segments. The company offers coconut fiber products, such as brush ware, floor covering, and value-added coir fiber products; natural and synthetic household, industrial, medical, sports, and electrician gloves; activated carbon solutions for water treatment, air purification, gold extraction, food and beverages, energy storage, and specialty applications; weft knitted fabrics; and a range of customized aluminum extrusions, household aluminum, industrial aluminum, and trading products. It also provides crop protection products, animal health products, fertilizers, and agricultural machinery; seed and planting solutions, agricultural machinery, pest control solutions, diagnostic testing services, and gardening and landscaping solutions; agricultural input and technology related training; and horticulture and food export. In addition, the company operates tea and rubber plantations that also offer coffee, coconut, cinnamon, pepper, turmeric, ginger, cardamom, and other agricultural crops; hotels, resorts, and boutiques; and hydro, solar, and wind power plants with an installed capacity of 50 megawatts. Further, it engages in the distribution of consumer goods; provision of financial services; and supply of industrial raw materials and engineering solutions to the industrial sector. Additionally, the company offers integrated logistics, projects and engineering, marine and energy, aviation, international freight management, business process outsourcing, corporate management services, and medical and analytical healthcare solutions. Hayleys PLC was founded in 1878 and is headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
