Hong Leong Financial Group Berhad, an investment holding company, provides investment banking, stockbroking, and fund management business of financial services to consumer, corporate, and institutional customers. The company operates through Commercial Banking, Investment Banking and Asset Management, Insurance, and Other Operations segments. It also offers commercial and Islamic banking, including personal financial services, business & corporate banking, regional wealth management, global markets, and Islamic financial services. In addition, the company engages in investment banking, stockbroking, and asset management activities, as well as being involved in life and general insurance, and takaful services; and management services. Further, it offers treasury, equities, derivatives, and foreign exchange; investment banking, futures and stockbroking, and fund and unit trust management, and private banking services. Hong Leong Financial Group Berhad has operations in Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, and China. The company was formerly known as Hong Leong Credit Berhad and changed its name to Hong Leong Financial Group Berhad in July 2006. Hong Leong Financial Group Berhad was incorporated in 1968 and is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Hong Leong Financial Group Berhad is a subsidiary of Hong Leong Company (Malaysia) Berhad (Hlcm).
