The company was formerly known as Hyundai Electric & Energy Systems Co., Ltd. and changed its name to HD Hyundai Electric Co., Ltd. in March 2023. HD Hyundai Electric Co., Ltd. was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in Seongnam-si, South Korea.
