Jamaica Producers Group Limited, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the food and drink, and logistics and infrastructure businesses in Europe, the Caribbean, and North America. It operates through two segments, JP Food & Drink, and JP Logistics & Infrastructure. The JP Food & Drink segment is involved in the agriculture, processing, distribution, and/or retail of food and drinks. The JP Logistics & Infrastructure segment engages in logistics, transportation, port terminal operations, shipping, land management, and investment activities. Its products include fruit juices, smoothies and flavored waters, natural juices, purified ice and water, tropical snacks, and rum cakes under the Hoogesteger, St Mary’s, Tortuga, CoBeverage Lab, Monte Cristi, JP Tropical Snacks, and Grupo Empresarial Alaska brands. The company also provides land and property management, and treasury investments services. The company was formerly known as Jamaica Banana Producers Association Ltd. and changed its name to Jamaica Producers Group Limited in 1992. Jamaica Producers Group Limited was founded in 1925 and is based in Kingston, Jamaica.
