The company was formerly known as Mansard Insurance Plc and changed its name to AXA Mansard Insurance Plc in July 2015. The company was incorporated in 1989 and is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. AXA Mansard Insurance Plc operates as a subsidiary of Assur Africa Holdings Limited.
