Material Sciences Corporation designs, manufactures, and sells coated and acoustic? metal solutions. It serves automotive, construction, and consumer goods industries worldwide. Material Sciences Corporation was founded in 1951 and is headquartered in Canton, Michigan with production facilities in East Chicago, Indiana; Elk Grove Village, Illinois; Toronto, Canada; and Walbridge, Ohio. It has sales offices in Burr Ridge, Illinois; Shanghai, China; and Turin, Italy. As of March 20, 2014, Material Sciences Corporation operates as a subsidiary of Zink Acquisition Holdings Inc.
