Meezan Bank Limited, an Islamic bank, engages in the provision of corporate, commercial, consumer, investment, and retail banking services in Pakistan. In addition, the company is involved in floating and managing collective investment and voluntary pension schemes; providing investment advisory services; and trading and sale of equity, foreign exchanges, commodities, securities, and placements. It operates through a network of branches and ATMs. The company was formerly known as Al Meezan Investment Bank and changed its name to Meezan Bank Limited in 2002. The company was incorporated in 1997 and is headquartered in Karachi, Pakistan.
