Melstacorp PLC operates as a diversified conglomerate company in Sri Lanka, Maldives, and internationally. It distributes a variety of arrack, bear, locally made foreign liquors, and a various wines and spirits; provides monthly rental, call, broadband, installation, receipts from other network operators, and flag and site rental services; and hotel operations, hotel management services, inbound and outbound travels, airline general sales agent. The company offers maritime and port services, freight forwarding and courier, integrated logistics, airline GSA (cargo); thermal power generation; inward money transfer, elevator agency, property management, water bottling operation for the use in the hotel sector, printing and packaging services; manufactures apparels; and sale of liquor bottles and produce from plantation. In addition, it provides tourism maritime, automobile and freight logistics strategic investment and telecommunication services; cultivates and processes tea and rubber; information and communication technology; BPO, KPO, and software development; generates and sells hydro electric energy; leisure products; general and life insurance services; creative and media buying services; dyeing and printing woven fabrics; real estate management; IT services; and diagnostic and health care services. Additionally, the company offers contact center hosting, data processing, software quality assurance, and IT consulting. It serves beverages, tourism, maritime, freight and logistics, strategic investments, plantation, finance, services, and telecommunication industries. Melstacorp PLC was incorporated in 1998 and is headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
