Middle East Insurance Co. provides various insurance products and services in Jordan and internationally. It provides life and health insurance, such as term life, personal accident, medical, and travel insurance; and general accident insurance, including public and product liability, professional indemnity, and workmen's compensation insurance, as well as insurance for money, fidelity, medical malpractice, bankers blanket bonds, jewelers blocks, and contingency/ cancellation of event insurance. The company also offers motor insurance that comprise comprehensive, vehicle, personal, and luggage assistance; and property insurance comprises fire and allied perils, property all risks, and household insurance. In addition, it provides insurance policies to cover engineering risks, such as contractors all risks, erection all risks, contractors plant and machinery, and machinery breakdown, as well as loss of profit electronic equipment and deterioration of stock machinery breakdown. Further, the company offers marine insurance for cargo, and hull and machinery; and aviation insurance, including aircraft hull and liabilities, aircraft spares, airport liability, personal accident, loss of license, deductible insurance, and loss of use. Middle East Insurance Co. was founded in 1962 and is headquartered in Amman, Jordan. Middle East Insurance Co. is a subsidiary of Middle East Holding Company PLC.
