SLOVNAFT, a.s., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the processing of crude oil, and distribution and sale of refined products. In addition, the company engages in wholesale, freight transshipment, accounting and financial, information technology, advertising and marketing, repair and maintenance, transport, and research and development activities. It has operations in Slovakia, Hungary, Czechia, Italy, Poland, Germany, Croatia, Austria, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Serbia, Romania, Slovenia, the Netherlands, and internationally. The company was incorporated in 1992 and is based in Bratislava, Slovakia. SLOVNAFT, a.s. operates as a subsidiary of MOL Magyar Olaj- és Gázipari Nyilvánosan Muködo Részvénytársaság.
