Uttara Bank PLC. offers various commercial banking products and services in Bangladesh. The company’s deposits products include savings accounts, current accounts, special notice deposits, foreign currency accounts, and fixed deposit receipt accounts, as well as various deposit schemes. It also offers various loan schemes comprising term loans, consumer credit, personal loans, household durables loans, house repairing/renovation loans, travel loans, marriage loans, house finance for freedom fighters, working capital loans, education loans, doctor’s loans, home loans, car/motorcycle loans, and small and medium enterprise loans. In addition, the company provides lease finance services, fixed term loan to enterprises, agricultural credit, loan for foreign employment, and trade finance services, as well as funding for environment-oriented technologies, projects, industries, or businesses. Further, it offers SMS and Internet banking, debit and credit cards, locker, and ATM services, as well as international trade, treasury, and off-shore banking services. The company was founded in 1965 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
