It operates through three segments: Semiconductor and Component Test System Business, Mechatronics Related Business, and Services and Others. The company offers automated test equipment, including system on chip, power device, memory, burn-in, and SSD test systems; and component test systems, such as die level, SoC, and memory test handlers, as well as change kits, pressure sensor stimulus, device interface, test cell and automation solutions, and system level test systems. It also provides metrology and SEM tools; and electronic measuring instrument and scientific equipment, which include terahertz and measurement systems, board network analyzer, and wireless data logger airlogger. In addition, the company offers cloud solutions comprising of digital twin software, real-time data infrastructure, dynamic parametric test, adaptive probe cleaning, and test engineering; SiConic offerings, such as tackling modern silicon validation challenges, applications from bring-up to sign-off, explorer, link, empower test engineers within unified environment, and scalable ecosystem; and products related to test hands and nanotechnology. Further, it provides system-level test solutions, support services, consumables sales, used sales, equipment leasing, and research and development; consulting and solution services, including engineering, production ramp, production solution, and remote support; customer service agreement and uptime support services; and online customer training. Advantest Corporation was formerly known as Takeda Riken Kogyo Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Advantest Corporation in October 1985. The company was founded in 1954 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
