Capitec Bank Holdings Limited is a South Africa-based company, which owns the subsidiaries, Capitec Bank Limited (the bank) and Capitec Ins. Proprietary Limited (Capitec Ins). The Company operates through three segments: Retail bank, Business bank, and Insurance. The Retail bank segment includes transactional banking services; loan products that are granted to retail bank clients, which includes term loans, credit cards and access facilities; and flexible, fixed, and tax-free savings. The Business bank segment includes loan products that are granted to business bank clients, such as term loans, mortgage loans, overdrafts, instalment sales and leases and credit cards; call and notice deposits; and treasury products, which include foreign exchange spot trades and foreign exchange forward contracts. The Insurance segment provides long-term insurance products to retail bank clients. The Company's long-term insurance products include credit insurance and capitec funeral plan.
