Ekotechnika AG is a German holding company based in Walldorf and is a part of the Ekoniva-Technika Group. It is the largest distributor of agriculture equipment in Russia, specializing in selling new equipment such as tractors, combines, soil tillage machines, and precision farming technology. The company's main supplier is John Deere, the world's leading manufacturer in this field. Ekotechnica also offers spare parts, as well as service and maintenance. The founder and chairman of the Executive Board is Stefan Dürr, who has been involved in the Russian farming sector since the late eighties and has played a significant role in its modernization. In 2011, the equipment business was separated from the farming business and now operates independently under the name Ekosem-Agrar.
