JTEKT Corporation manufactures and sells steering systems, driveline components, bearings, machine tools, electronic control devices, home accessory equipment, etc. It operates through the Industrial Receipt, Automobile Receipt, and Machine Tools segments. The company offers automotive components, such as steering, drive line components, and transmission components; bearings; machine tools, such as grinders, matching centers, and gear skiving/gear cutting machines; programmable logic controllers, such as motion controllers; IoE solutions; equipment, including industrial heat treatment equipment, compressors, assembly and inspection machines, electronic test instruments and equipment, maintenance equipment, and metal-bonded wheel forming machines. In addition, it provides tools, such as dressers, vitrified BN and diamond wheels, metal and resin wheels, PCD and PCBN, and electroplated wheels; displays, such as IoE, monitors, electronic counters, digital tachometers and timers, programmable displays, HMI software, and panel computers; gears, such as bevel gears, and worm and cylindrical gears; component parts, such as oil seals, shafts, and precision mechanical equipment; sensors, such as IoE, water level meter, rotary encoders, and proximity sensors; and storage devices, including lithium-ion capacitors. The company operates in Japan, the United States, Europe, North America, Asia, Oceania, South America, and internationally. JTEKT Corporation was founded in 1921 and is headquartered in Aichi, Japan.
