KS Bancorp, Inc. operates as the bank holding company for KS Bank, Inc. that provides various banking products and services to individuals and businesses in North Carolina. It offers personal deposit accounts, such as checking, savings, money market, and individual retirement accounts, as well as certificates of deposit; personal loans, such as vehicle, boat and marine, recreational, deposit/investment secured, student, debt consolidation; and credit cards, as well as home equity loans and lines of credit. The company also provides business checking and savings, and payroll card accounts; construction loans, including builders' speculative and pre-sale, and commercial builder loans; commercial loans comprising equipment, facilities, debt refinancing, and real estate loans; and seasonal cash needs, and inventory and receivables financing lines of credit. In addition, it offers merchant, payroll, cash management, and remote deposit services; and mortgage services, including purchase, refinance, home renovation, government, and construction/permanent loans. Further, the company provides wealth management services comprising investment, retirement and financial planning, trust and estate, and private banking services. Additionally, it offers online, mobile, and telephone banking services. The company was founded in 1924 and is headquartered in Smithfield, North Carolina.
