LOLC Holdings PLC engages in the financial services, insurance, agriculture and plantation, IT services, manufacturing and trading, leisure, plantation, construction, power and energy, and other businesses. It offers leasing, lending, factoring, stockbroking, insurance, and microfinance services, as well as financial products for the SME sector, and savings products and deposits; agricultural solutions, including machinery, implements, fertilizer, and crop care; and tea, rubber, cinnamon, cardamom, coconut, pepper, cocoa, commercial forestry, and sugarcane plantation services, as well as generates solar power energy. The company also operates hotels, restaurants, and resorts; constructs civil engineering and piling, irrigation, telecommunications, water supply, and sewerage projects, as well as roads and bridges; and manufactures and trades in batteries, generators, human and veterinary pharmaceuticals, machinery and hardware, home and office solutions, boiler and marine services, heavy machinery, and RADCO radiators, as well as acts as an agent for a range of brands. In addition, it offers IT solutions, including data center facilities, system provisioning, and implementation services, as well as real estate development services; and imports, assembles, and sells agro equipment. Further, the company offers aluminum fabrication, air ticketing and outbound tour, healthcare, property rental, plantation management, powder coating, secretarial, glass processing, and vehicle trading and repair services; designs, develops, and distributes software; invests in ventures; and manufactures graphene, as well as gold mining activities. It operates in Sri Lanka, Singapore, Cambodia, Maldives, Myanmar, Indonesia, Pakistan, Africa, the Philippines, and internationally. The company was formerly known as Lanka ORIX Leasing Company PLC and changed its name to LOLC Holdings PLC in October 2018. The company was incorporated in 1980 and is headquartered in Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka.
