The company offers M&A advisory; forex and cryptocurrency exchange; securities investment; investor and investment education; asset building and management; investment fund and portfolio management, and exempt market dealership; investment advisory; private banking for high-net-worth clients; custodial trust; venture capital; and human resource development services. It also engages in the development of trading technologies; research and development projects; development and operation of CraftChat, a marketing SaaS; management and utilization services for genomic, medical, and healthcare data; research, design, study, development, and consultation on cryptocurrency; and purchase and resale of insurance contracts. The company was formerly known as Monex Beans Holdings, Inc. and changed its name to Monex Group, Inc. in July 2008. Monex Group, Inc. was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Minato, Japan.
