National Bank PLC. provides commercial banking products and services in Bangladesh. Its deposit products include savings, current, term, foreign currency, higher education, century, luxury savings, millionaire, and other deposit schemes; monthly savings, bi-monthly income, and monthly earning schemes; and aamar, triple benefit, double benefit, school banking, and preferred service accounts. The company also offers any purpose, consumer durable, education, student, professional, term, housing, small house building, as well as small business, weavers, and other loans; auto, lease, working capital, trade, and work order finance; and agriculture and rural credit. It also provides debit and credit cards; internet banking services; trade, cash management, treasury, security, foreign remittance, and custodian services; and syndication and structured finance services consist of offshore and onshore loan syndication, private placement of equity, project finance, trustee and legal facilitator, feasibility study, and financial/corporate advisory services. The company operates through branches and sub-branches; and an offshore banking unit. The company was formerly known as National Bank Limited and changed its name to National Bank PLC. In July 2025. National Bank PLC. was incorporated in 1983 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
